Frequently Asked Questions about Accreditation
1) An accreditation cycle was just announced in January 2015 -- what should we do if we are planning to apply this cycle?
It is recommended that Programs view the Program Orientation ( link is above) and the Program Manual and Appendices carefully. A letter of intent should be sent to TEPHINET indicating their interest to apply. Within 12 weeks of the announcement and letter of intent, the Program should plan to have completed their accreditation application online. For the current cycel program should be plan to have their online application fsubmitted by mid to end of April, 2015, if not earlier.
2) I am a reviewer, what should I do now?
It is recommmended that reviewers review the Reviewers Orientation ( link above) , Reviewers Manual and Appendices and contact TEPHINET secretariat with any questions. TEPHINET houses a database of potential reivwers that have voiced interest--- each reviewer should have recieved an email confirming they have been added to this database. Reviewers will be contacted if they match with a program that is applying ( i.e. no conflict of interest, language skills, etc.)
3) If ther a template for the letter of intent?
All templates and forms for the process can be found in the appendices to the manuals.
