Creating an Analysis Plan

Participants learn about creating an analysis plan for a non-communicable disease health problem. In the module, participants will learn hypothesis development, how to manipulate datasets, variables and inclusion criteria, appropriate statistical methods and softeware to use, and develope table shells. After approximently 5 1/2 hours of an interactive, facilitator or mentor led discussion, partipants will complete a 2 hour skill assessment to create an analysis plan for an NCD study.


Note: The facilitator guide contins copies of all guidelines and answers on what to do and say in each section of this module. It also contains the skill assessment with potential answers. You must have instructor membership status to download the (MS Word) facilitator guide. The particpant guide includes the exercises, key points, and a place to take notes during the discussion.
