Effect of new Malaria control programme of East Mono District in Togo from 2005-2009

Background: In 2005 Togo introduced new malaria control programme (MCP) to improve accessibility of malaria treatment and prevention. This study assessed the effect of the program on malaria morbidity and case-fatality rate (CFR) in East-mono District, community’s attitudes and perceptions towards the role played by community health-workers (CHW) in malaria treatment.

Epidemiological data for Rabies control in domestic animals, Niger 2010

Background: Rabies is an endemic zoonotic disease in Niger, all animals species are affected. Veterinary authorities plan to control rabies by using strychnine in bait against stray domestic carnivores.Our study aims to determine the most affected species.
