ABSTRACT

Background: On 28th June, 2006, 55 cases of the gastroenteritis were reported among the hostellers of the Tibetan Transit School,
Dharamshala. We investigated the outbreak to identify the source, propose control and preventive measures.

Background: Salmonella infection is estimated to cause 10% of bacterial gastroenteritis outbreaks in China. In October 2011, a gastroenteritis outbreak occurred in school M in Zhejiang Province. We conducted an investigation to identify the risk factors and source of contamination.

Gastroenteritis Outbreak at Rehabilitation Institute. Buenos Aires, Argentina, November, 2009

Introduction: On November 17, 2009, health authorities were notified of several gastrointestinal cases in adults at a rehabilitation institute. We initiated an epidemiological investigation to confirm the presence an outbreak, identify the causal agent, and to establish control measures.
