Investigation of an outbreak of several thousand cases of Typhoid fever in Dushanbe, Tajikistan in 1997 that resulted from inadequately maintained public water supply.

An Outbreak of Typhoid Fever Caused by Polluted Water in a Rural Village-Jiangxi Province, China, 2010

Background: On September 28, 2010, 26 suspected typhoid fever (TF) cases were reported in a village. We investigated this outbreak to identify the mode of transmission, and recommend prevention and control measures.

A Typhoid Fever Outbreak Caused by Contaminated Drinking Water—Xinjiang, China, 2010

Background: On August 16, Township L in Xinjiang province, China, reported an outbreak of typhoid fever (TF). We conducted this investigation to identify the source and risk factors, and propose control measures and preventive recommendations.
